Bonds is a series that focuses on relationships. It does so by considering them in their different forms: as relationships of affection, relationships involving sensuality and relationships of blood.
'Mother Sister Lover' is the convergence of three archetypal female figures. What does a man see in a woman? The embrace of a mother? The confidentiality of a sister? The sensuality of a lover? The game played by two siblings, brother and sister, symbolised by a ball, unfolds into the sexual intercourse of two lovers, the violent penetration of which, reaches the climax of the drama of a birth in reverse. The three roles played out by the female are staged in a peculiar setting that of a dinner having consumed. This would leave room for a four archetype, perhaps: that of the woman as praying mantis cannibalizing her man.
