Bonds is a series that focuses on relationships. It does so by considering them in their different forms: as relationships of affection, relationships involving sensuality and relationships of blood.
In 'The Marriage of the Footballer and the Ballerina', the two characters, walking carefree on a beach during the private procession of their own wedding are an embodyment of the idea of the hero, the footballer, and of grace and beauty, the ballerina, in contemporary media-driven culture. It may be a common opinion that a marriage between people from the show business or similar environment is a 'volatile agreement', but these two seem to be motivated by true love. So what is the crumbling sand castle suggeting us, then?
